Anne (Mooney) Dolan of Cold Spring passed away peacefully on July 12, 2024 at Salem Hills Rehabilitation Center. She was 79.
Anne was born on November 22, 1945 in Poughkeepsie to the late Daniel and Jane (Hannan) Mooney, lifelong residents of Cold Spring. Anne grew up in Cold Spring and attended school at Our Lady of Loretto and Our Lady of Lourdes. She later moved to Newburgh and returned to Cold Spring upon retiring, where she resided for the next 15 years.
Anne began her career as a production assistant and worked on several major films, including Hello Dolly and the Exorcist. She later worked as a school library assistant and spent 15 years at Orange-Ulster BOCES until her retirement.
Survivors include her daughters Meghan Dolan and Susan Crispin, brother Daniel Mooney, grandson Tyler Crispin, niece Sarah Beth Mooney, and many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Dolan, and her parents, Jane and Dan.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 3, 2024 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 24 Fair Street, Cold Spring, Interment will follow at the Cold Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, and to honor her beloved canine companion, Jake, the family requests donations to be made in her name to Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF Beacon).
