Betty Jean Vanzo of Cold Spring passed away peacefully at home on April 16, 2019. She was 92.
Born on November 6, 1926 in Paducah, Kentucky to the late John and Ethel Rawlings Woeltz.
Betty loved crafting, she excelled at crossword puzzles and was loved by all. She
was always smiling and had a way of making everyone feel special.
She was a member and former president of the Cold Spring Senior Citizens.
Betty is survived by her loving children, Victor Vanzo and his wife Francine, Kenneth Vanzo, Christopher Vanzo and his wife Marylou, Becky Maffucci and her husband Andrew, her daughter-in-law Lena Vanzo, 12 cherished grandchildren and 10 loving great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Virginio Vanzo, her son John Vanzo, her granddaughter Danielle Vanzo, siblings Eloise Kaler, JoAnn Hayden and John Woeltz. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Monday April 22, 2019 from 5-8pm at Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott Street, Cold Spring. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday April 23, 2019 at 10am at Our Lady of Loretto Church. Interment will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery.
