“Bub Harvey”

Francis J. Harvey a lifelong resident of Cold Spring passed away peacefully on October 8, 2023, in Tucson, Arizona.  He was 88.

 After graduation from Haldane High Bub proudly served his county in the United States Navy. Upon his return from service, he worked several years down at the shipyards before becoming a  Control Room Technician at Orange and Rockland Utilities where he later retired.

 After his retirement he enjoyed metal detecting, hunting for antiques, or could be found tinkering away in his garage or cellar.   

 Bub is survived by children Cindi Ramirez, David Harvey and his wife Sharron, Arthur Harvey and his wife Lori, Mary Alice Ceballos and her husband John. He also had 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren   He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

 Bub was preceded by his wife MaryAnn Harvey his daughter Maureen Harvey, his parents  Arthur & Alice Harvey, and his siblings  Arthur Harvey Arlette Pellerin and Catherine Dooner.

 Friends and relatives will call at Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott Street, Cold Spring from 10 am-12 pm with funeral services to follow at 12 pm at the funeral home.  Interment with military honors will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery.
