Francis "Uncle Bean" Colbert

Francis Colbert “Uncle Bean” a lifelong resident of Cold Spring passed away peacefully on May 29, 2021 at North Westchester Restorative Therapy.  He was 82.

Born on October 10, 1938 in Cold Spring to the late Robert and Bertha Monroe Colbert.

Francis graduated Haldane Schools and enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served his country.  After being honorably discharged he worked for the Town of Philipstown Highway Department for many years prior to his retirement.  After retiring he enjoyed gardening and his family.

He is survived by his sister Elizabeth Norton of Glenham and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Robert Colbert.

Funeral Services will be for the immediate family only under the direction of Clinton Funeral Home, Cold Spring.
