Howard Broad

Howard Ira Broad, 67,  a resident of Garrison for 33 years, was born in Coral Gables, Florida on January 8, 1953 and passed away in Somers, New York of Alzheimers disease on January 26, 2020.

Howard was raised in the Bronx NY and went to Howard Taft High School, he became an engineer with the Telephone Company for 20 years.  After learning the craft of clockmaking at the Bulova School he opened his store, Country Clocks on Main Street in Cold Spring for 30 years prior to retirement.

Howard is survived by his loving spouse of 41 years Winfried H. Dohle, his extended families the Dohles, Rautenbachs, Lohmanns, and Rasches and his beloved pets Archie, Milly and Bing

Friends may call on Thursday January 30, 2020 from 6-8pm at Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott Street, Cold Spring.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 31, 2020 at 11am at the funeral home, interment will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery.
