Kenneth James Dollarhide,76, of New Jersey passed away suddenly on March 12, 2018 at home.
Born on November 2, 1941 on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota to the late James and Maxine Trueblood Dollarhide where he spent the first 18 years of his life on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota and in nearby border towns
After High School he enlisted in the United States Army Serving his country proudly from 1959-1963. . He did his Ph.D. at McMaster University specializing in Buddhism , Japanese, Eastern Religion and Holocaust Studies. Ken taught and was a Dean at various universities until his retirement after nearly 40 years
He is survived by his daughter Maya Dollarhide and her husband Joseph Lucca. His Brother Richard Dollarhide and his wife Gail
Grandchildren Griffin Chamberlain Lucca and Miles James Lucca.
Funeral Services will be private and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Clinton Funeral Home-Cold Spring/
