Martin Robert Turner of Putnam Valley passed away suddenly but peacefully on February 26, 2021 at home. He was 83.
Born on January 10, 1938 at Butterfield Hospital to the late Milton and Elsie Turner.
Martin owned MRT Towing and worked for Anchor Motor Freight for many years prior to retirement.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy Seabees from 1956-1960 when he was honorably discharged.
He was a Ham Radio Operator where he talked to people all over the world and has postcards from 47 countries from friends he made through the years.
Martin is survived by his loving children Victoria Raymond and her fiancé Brian Bush of Pensacola, Florida, Patrice Morse of Indian Lake, New York and Brian McGibney and his wife Mary of Hubert, North Carolina. 8 Cherished grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
He is also survived by his beloved fur baby Pepe.
He was predeceased by his parents and his dog Poobear.
Due to the current health crisis funeral services will be private with burial in Sunset Cemetery, Montrose.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Clinton Funeral Home- Cold Spring.
