Marvin J. Needelman of Cold Spring formerly of Crestwood passed away peacefully on October 17, 2019 at NYS Veterans Home in Montrose. He was 93.
Born on May 12, 1926 in New York City to the late Rubin and Ida Leibowitz Needelman.
Marvin worked in the liquor industry for many years. He was best known for running the concessions at the Cold Spring Little League and at the Depot Theater in Garrison until he was 90.
Marvin was a proud United States Army Veteran Serving his country from 1944-1946 during World War II.
Marvin is survived by his Devoted wife Rhoda Needelman, Loving Children Gayle Needelman of Cold Spring and Mindy Jesek and her husband John of Cold Spring. Cherished grandchildren Katherina Jesek, J.M Jesek, Lauren Lulgjuraj and her husband Johnny, Nicole Needelman and Kaitlin Needelman, Loving Great Grandchildren A.J and Serena Lulgjuraj and Mason Jesek. He is also survived by his daughter in law Michele Needelman of Suffern.
Marvin was predeceased by his son Howard Needelman and his sister Clara Mautner.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 22, 2019 from 4-7pm at Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott Street, Cold Spring, NY. A Graveside Service with military honors will be held on Wednesday October 23, 2019 at 11:00am at Sharon Gardens 273 Lakeview Ave, Valhalla, NY.
