Patricia Rollins

Patricia Vail Rollins, 81, of Detroit MI, passed away on March 11, 2020, in Cold Spring, NY.

Patricia “Pat” Rollins was born in Detroit, MI, to Stanley Charles Vail and Marguerete Wilhelmina Gaut, on February 22, 1939. She went to Roosevelt High School in Dearborn Heights, MI. Pat enjoyed a simple and quiet life of family, puzzles, books, a good radio station, favorite shows, and a  Christmas snow fall. She had a caretaker heart and a door that was always open.

Pat is preceded by: her parents, sisters Sandra Vail Khan and Lola L. Vail, her brother Chris John Winekoff, and step-father Teddy Winekoff.

Pat is survived by: her children Robin and Ron Collins, Barbara and Rick Reichel, Gene Rollins, Patrick Rollins, and Sandra, and Jeff Beagan; her grandkids Jeff Mueller, Trisha and Jason Bruce, Leeann Stokfisz, Garrett Rollins, Kyle Beagan, and Zack Beagan; and great grandkids Maddie Mueller, Rachel Bruce, Hannah Bruce, and Aubree Stokfisz.

. Pat could be found listening, dancing, and swaying to music frequently. A favorite of hers and very apropos to say farewell with is by the Tokens, “Hush my darling, don't fear my darling, the lion sleeps tonight. A-weema-weh, a-weema-weh, a-weema-weh, a-weema-weh…”
